I was born in the Republic of Moldova in 1961. I've graduated
the Philology Department, State University of Chisinau. I
started working in the domain of professional caricatures/cartoons
since 1995. My works have been published in the majority of
Moldovan national publications: "Chiparus" magazine
of humor and the following newspapers - "Tineretul Moldovei"
(The Youth of Moldova), "Moldova Suverana" (Sovereign
Moldova), "Faclia" (The Torch), "Flux"
(The Flux) etc. Since 1999, I collaborated with the famous
Romanian poet and editor Dorin Tudoran, illustrating his articles
and editorials published in the "Civic Voice" newsletter
of the International Foundation for Election Systems - Moldova
and "Literary Romania".

In 2000, I have illustrated the "Together - for a better
health" medical brochure for CIVIS Center and "Civic
Voice (newsletter) - Digest" for IFES-Moldova.
The topics of my cartoons is very diverse - from easy humor
to social-political satire. This site includes just a small
part of my published cartoons that cover different aspects
of the human life in our current realities. I am open for
partnership.
